Diabetes results from inadequate or insufficient supply of insulin, improper use of insulin in body cells , and too much of sugar in the blood, or a combination of these factors. When the pancreas malfunctions by being exhausted due to its constant production of insulin to change all the sugar in the body to heat and energy. This malfunction causes the excess sugar to pollute the blood stream.
